AffiliationsDobleman-Screening3

In 2009 the Dobleman Institute and Creighton University Medical Center formed an affiliation for the purposes of establishing a Head and Neck Tumor program at Creighton University Medical Center. This Affiliation will benefit both entities by providing Medical Students and residents a formal teaching environment for this discipline.  The affiliation also will allow advancements in the fields of research as it relates to head and neck tumors. This collaborated effort will help both entities with their outreach teaching and screenings through the state of Nebraska. In addition, Creighton University's Dental School participation is seen as critical as dentists are often the first in detecting this disease.  Their involvement in cancer screenings, research and teaching is an important part of this affiliation.  The multidisciplinary approach of the institute and Creighton universities medical and dental schools allows us to provide the most advanced comprehensive approach to the treatment of this disease. Regional, national and international referrals and collaborations will expand under this affiliation.
